The Sandman's Orchestra, duo comprising PIERRE LAPLACE and LEONIE GABRIEL, have released their debut CD, "Silver Linings", an album of folk songwriting with touches of jazz noir and electronica.
Acoustic instrumentation and finger-picked guitar or banjo blend seamlessly with minimal jazz and electronica/soundscapes to accompany vocal duets and solos by Léonie Gabriel, creating a timelessness that will appeal to fans of Nick Drake, Beth Gibbons, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Cat Power or Kate Bush.
