New release from Dáithí Sproule and Randall Bays

A new album coming straight from the presses as we speak is a nice collaboration between Randall Bays and Dáithí Sproule.

Randall is a fiddler and guitarist who has worked with the great Martin Hayes among others.

Daithi is the backbone for Altan. He really is one of the best and most inventive guitarists in Traditional Irish music today and also an excellent singer of traditional songs. Daithi has lived in the States for a while and teamed up with Randall when they ended up in the same town in Massachusetts in 2001.

It is told that their sound is a mixture of fiddle tunes, soulful singing and exquisite guitar duets. What more could you want from an album. This one will be on every serious music collectors list of must haves so if you want to maintain some semblance of traditional Irish street cred then you better go out and get it.
