Here are another 10 albums I think people new to Celtic and Irish music would like

11. Michael O' Súilleabháin: Becoming The finest pianist in Irish music is at his best here with this album featuring the Irish chamber orchestra and members of the NSO. The album features pieces written to accompany the 1925 silent film "Irish Destiny"
12. Shaun Davey: The Brendan Voyage This is one of Ireland 's best composers with a suite written for Irish piper Liam O Flynn. The album was inspired by Tim Severin who in 1976 in a small leather covered boat retraced the journey of legendary St Brendan.
13. Enya: The Celts Commissioned for a television series by the BBC this is Enya's first solo project after her short stint with fellow family members Clannad. The work traces the origins of the Celtic nations throughout Europe.
Matt Molloy Shadows on Stone14. Matt Molloy Shadows on Stone This is a fine example of the solo flute playing of Chieftains member Matt with some of the finest traditional tunes from his vast repertoire.

15. Begley and Cooney: Meitheal An unlikely but brilliant duo featuring guitar and accordion. Seamus Begley from a famous traditional music family in Kerry and Steve Cooney an Australian now living in Kerry are probably the best live duo anywhere to be seen either in sessions or in concert.

16. Davey Spillane: Atlantic Bridge The haunting sound of the Uillean pipes is one of the most unique sounds in Irish traditional music and is here played by the master. This album mixes traditional sounds with contemporary instrumentation and has earned him recognition among purists and mainstream music fans alike.
17. Donal Lunny: Coolfin This is one of the best outings from a man who is probably the most respected of all the traditional musicians in Ireland . This album puts together some of the finest musicians around today. The album is a mixture again of traditional and contemporary tunes and songs.
18. The Dubliners: The best of the Dubliners: Irish Favorites This is the bawdy band at their best with classic drinking songs that have kept them at the top for so many years.
19. Matt Molloy: Music at Matt Molloy's If you want to hear what a real session sounds like then this album recorded in Matt's own pub in Westport Co Mayo is a great example.
20. Stockton 's Wing: Stockton 's Wing Their first album with the original and best line-up playing tunes the way they are supposed to be played, with life and joy.
