Pre-order Donna the Buffalo's "Silverlined" today and get the Infamous Stringdusters right now for a great price.

Donna the BuffaloTwo of the best bands on Sugar Hill's impressive roster have CDs hitting the shelves. Donna the Buffalo and the Infamous Stringdusters are very different bands but I have seen them both play live many times and have always been blown away wth the musicianship and energy each of them brings to the stage.

The impressive new record from the veterans of roots rock doesn't hit the streets until July 8th, but you can pre-order your copy today at www.donnathebuffalo.com and be automatically entered into a contest to win 2 all-access passes to the band's own GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance in Trumansburg, NY!

This festival was started by DTB in 1990 as a benefit for a local AIDS support network, and has since grown into a large multi-day event attracting more than 15,000 people. Its mission is to raise money for the fight against AIDS and other worthy causes, provide regional and national exposure for excellent local musicians, and expose the local and regional music lovers to excellent national and international artists.  Read more about it at http://www.grassrootsfest.org/

The Infamous StringdustersSugar Hill and the Stringdusters have joined forces with iTunes to offer the new record a week before street date, and at a special discounted price of $7.99.  This offer won't be around forever, so hurry and get your copy today!  The record is also currently featured on the front page of the iTunes store - poke around a bit and you'll find it.

The official album release party was Friday night, June 6th, at the Station Inn in Nashville -- one of my favorite venues in the world! I am sorry I missed it but I know I will be catching up with the band at a festival or two over the hot summer months.

The physical CD, along with lots of other Stringdusters merchandise, is still available from their website, www.infamousstringdusters.com/store, and is now being offered with options for more inexpensive shipping.
