Well we made it back from Florida all safe and sound. This year's Magfest was every bit as good as we expected it to be. The rain was there for most of Thursday night and Friday but that did nothing to discourage thousands of music fans from coming out to hear some great bands. One thing about Magnoliafest and it's sister event Springfest is that there are always a few surprises. This year the big talking point was former Crooked Still cellist Rashad Eggleston and his new band. This group has to be seen to be believed. Sadly there are no recordings of the band yet but it wont be long before they are in the studio and churning out a few hits. The other cool surprise is that we are now in full throttle planning ways to bring the spirit of this great festival to Ireland.
