Happy Thanksgiving everyone. While I know we don't celebrate this very American holiday in Ireland, it is nice to spend some time thinking of what we should be thankful for. I know too that the economy is bad. I know of two friends of mine who have lost their jobs in recent weeks. While there is not really a good time to lose your job, the last few weeks before Christmas is probably the worst, especially when you have children. So for those of us who have enough work to live on and enough to eat we should definitely be thankful. And we should think of those less fortunate. On the show this week you will meet my son Kevin and my stepson Aubrey. You will also hear some great music from both sides of the Atlantic. So please vote for your favourite in our poll on the right hand side. Have a very peaceful thanksgiving folks. On today's show 1. Sharon Shannon - Cavan Potholes 2. Capercaillie - Fogsail an Dorus (Nigean Bhuaidh Ruadh) 3. Sia - Soon We 'll Be Found 4. Alison Krauss and Tony Furtado - I Will 5. Sam Bush - King of the World 6. Afro Celt Sound System - Onward 7. Radney Foster - Nobody Wins 8. Bruce Hornsby with the Fairfield Four - The Way It Is 9. Tim O'Brien - Get out and Dance 10. Blueground Undergrass - Dublin Blues
