Hi everyone. Another week has gone by and we are now at show number 14. I hope you have been enjoying our musical journeys around the world. I try hard to find a rich and diverse selection of songs every week many of which highlight the great musical connections we have. This week is no exception with songs written by Stephen Foster in the 1800s in the heart of America being played in recent years by Irish men and women. We have songs with even older roots from the mountains of North Carolina and new music from traditional Irish virtuosos living in Philadelphia. Music travels the world and becomes richer for the journey. I hope you keep listening to this show in the coming months and please let me know what you like. Don't forget you can vote for your favorite track on the panel on the right hand side of this page.
