Moya on tour in the USA
Moya's
tour of the US is going from strength to strength. Moya
has just been in the country for almost a week and has wowed crowds from
Philadephia PA to Alexandria VA. The tour dates in the USA are to coincide
with the stateside release of Two Horizons.
Moya is one of Ireland's best and most successful singers coming from
years of at the top with Clannad and then
her solo career. She has pushed back many musical boundaries over the
years including having the first Irish language song to make it to the
British charts with the Theme from Harry's Game.
Then of course there was the groundbreaking In a
Lifetime duet with Bono and many haunting
movie and television themes and soundtracks.
Two Horizons has been released to great critical acclaim in Ireland, the
UK and Europe and is getting huge amounts of airplay on radio. Moya's
US fans will be excited at both the release of the CD and the tour dates.
There is a longer review of the new album which I featured on Irish
Abroad and here on JigTime some months
back but for now here are the tour dates so far.
