Paul Brady's busy life

Paul BradyPaul Brady has to be one of the hardest working men in Ireland . He has just arrived back from a very successful solo tour of the USA showcasing some of his now classic songs as well as new material. If you had a chance to see him then you know what a great performer he is. His songwriting skills have been recognized by many over the years and huge stars from Santana to Tina Turner have recorded his songs.

During this latest tour Paul stopped off in Woodstock to film for Homespun Tapes a tuition video called , The Guitar Of Paul Brady - Playing Traditional and Contemporary Irish Songs.  The video shows Paul playing many of his guitar based songs, with detailed descriptions of his tunings and technique. This is a must for all those guitarists who want to understand the unique style of Paul Brady. Set for release in January 2004, I will be sitting down with that video to see if I can finally learn how to play those great songs properly and will be reviewing it for you here on JigTime.

Paul is back home now but has only 2 more live dates left this year.

You can catch him if you are very lucky at
