Moya Brennan ©Peer Lindgreen Moya kicks off German leg of her tour in Darmstadt

After a busy rehearsal schedule Moya hits the road to Germany this week to play 17 dates with one show each in Belguim, Switzerland and the Netherlands. There will also be a special one off concert in London.

This will the first time Moya's fans in those countries get to hear tracks from the Two Horizons album played live by Moya's fabulous band.

The band which Moya hand picked from the cream of musicians available include Paul Byrne on drums and percussion, Eamonn Galldubh on Uilleann pipes, whistles and flute, Sinéad Madden on fiddle and vocals, Sam Jackson on keyboards, Fionán Debarra on guitars and vocals, Cormac Debarra on harp and vocals and Yoshi Izumi on bass, guitar and vocals. With Moya's beautiful voice and second harp on stage this is one of the most amazing live band lineups to come out of Ireland for many years.

Moya's album Two Horizons is receiving critical acclaim and healthy sales in Europe and she hopes that will translate to the US market when the album is released and she licks off a US tour next month.

As you know JigTime is keeping a close watch on Moya and will have more news as it happens in the coming weeks.

Here is the full list of shows for the European leg of the tour.
